Business Development Representative (DACH & France)

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to join our team, focusing on the DACH and France regions. The primary location for this role is Munich, with the flexibility to work remotely. However, our headquarters are in Helsinki, and we are also open to considering applicants based there.
As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective clients, focusing on lead conversion and engagement. You'll work closely with the EMEA marketing team and regional sales managers to support our goal of driving high-quality leads and successfully converting Marketing Qualified Leads into Sales Qualified Leads. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for both inbound and outbound leads, presenting SSH’s product value proposition and gathering insights on prospective customer needs.
- Engage with prospects generated through event participation, website inquiries, and outbound marketing, converting MQLs into meetings with regional sales managers via email, phone, and social media.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in the CRM system, ensuring proper tracking and timely follow-ups.
- Identify and engage essential contacts within existing enterprise accounts to help regional sales managers expand relationships and opportunities within those organizations.
Additional Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the EMEA marketing team to understand campaign strategies, ideal customer profiles, and key product messaging.
- Qualify and nurture leads based on their business needs and readiness, supporting steady pipeline growth
- Track lead progression through the sales lifecycle and stay updated on market trends to identify new opportunities.
- Participate in events to promote brand awareness and contribute to lead generation efforts.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in a sales, lead generation, or a related role, preferably in the technology or cybersecurity industry.
- Fluency in both German and English languages is required; additional business-level French language is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage prospects effectively.
- Tech-savvy with experience using CRM tools and sales enablement platforms.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented with a proactive approach to work.
