Summer Trainee

SSH Communications Security is a European defensive cybersecurity company that specialises in secure communications. We are looking for a motivated Summer Trainee to join our PrivX team and work on improving and verifying documentation processes related to open-source components and security scanning. As a pioneer in secure communications, our solutions protect the digital interactions of millions worldwide, and this is your opportunity to contribute to our mission.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Improve, verify, and automate the process for documenting PrivX open-source components.
  • Assist with documentation tool migration, including content conversion and refining the publishing process.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Knowledge of documentation technologies like Markdown and DocBook XML.
  • Basic scripting experience in Bash, JavaScript, or Python.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with MDX (Markdown-based documentation format) and static-site documentation frameworks like Astro or Eleventy.
  • Familiarity with dependency scanning tools that can run locally (not cloud-specific).
