Build Engineer Summer Trainee
SSH Communications Security is a European defensive cybersecurity company and a pioneer of secure communications. Our solutions gatekeep access and defend secrets when people, applications, and systems need to communicate. We are looking for two Summer Trainees to join our R&D teams working on build systems and CI/CD pipelines.
In this role, you will help improve build pipelines, development workflows, and automation used in our software development process. The positions are in two different product teams, and you will be placed in the team that best matches your interests and background.
Teams
The trainee positions are available in:
PrivX team - improving CI/CD pipelines and build processes for our privileged access management solution
Tectia / PKM team - improving build pipelines and investigating GitLab-based CI/CD solutions
What you'll do
Improve build and CI/CD pipelines
Work with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
Help maintain and improve build and release documentation
Investigate and resolve build and pipeline issues
What we’re looking for
Studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Familiarity with Jenkins
Familiarity with Python
Familiarity with Bash / shell scripting
Nice to have
Docker or Kubernetes knowledge
Familiarity with container technologies
