We are looking for a Senior Product Manager for our network encryption products that combine software and hardware into a high-reliability, high-performance encryption solution.

What you'll do

• Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for network encryption solutions, aligned with SSH’s strategy and market needs

• Translate customer needs, market insights, and regulatory requirements into clear product direction and priorities

• Identify opportunities for product development and differentiation, especially in high-security and regulated environments

• Own product requirements and backlog priorities, working closely with engineering to ensure feasible, secure, and high-quality implementation

• Ensure compliance, certification, and contractual requirements are embedded into product planning and execution

• Drive go-to-market activities, including product positioning and market entry

• Engage directly with customers and partners to validate product direction and support key opportunities

• Support strategic customer engagements and key deals by providing product expertise

• Represent the product in customer and partner discussions

• Act as a bridge between technical and commercial perspectives across R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support

• Contribute to the development of product management practices within SSH

What we are looking for

• Proven experience in product management within cybersecurity, networking, telecom, or other technically complex environments

• Experience defining product direction and owning product roadmap decisions

• Strong ability to translate customer needs, regulatory constraints, and technical inputs into clear product direction and priorities

• Good understanding of encryption technologies, secure communications, or network security concepts

• Experience working with cross-functional teams, particularly in close collaboration with engineering

• Familiarity with regulated environments such as defence, government, or critical infrastructure

• Good analytical skills and ability to use data to support decision-making

• Structured and pragmatic approach, with the ability to balance long-term strategy and day-to-day execution

It is considered an advantage if you have

• Familiarity with certification and compliance frameworks such as Common Criteria or FIPS

• Experience working with products that combine software and hardware

Finnish citizenship is required due to customer requirements related to working with strong encryption products
